Fiber Composite 3D Printing

Fabheads presents FibrBot series of 3D printers – our in-house developed 3D printers with carbon fiber printing capabilities. FibrBots opens up a plethora of possibilities – new materials, new fabrication capabilities, high precision, and highly economical fabrication processes. FibrBot gives you the maximum strength for the weight 3D printed over any other 3D printing processes!

Prints smaller parts with medium performance plastics as matrix with/without fiber reinforcement.

MATERIAL TEST DATA

The incredible feature of Fabheads’ 3D printing technology is that the fibers and matrix are completely customizable! If you need us to use a particular grade of fiber and plastic with a specific fiber ratio, we can do it!

The material data supplied here are only for reference with the lowest grade fibers with the minimum most strength! And hence, the possibilities are endless with different combinations!

Fabheads has devised customizable hybrid processes. Taking the power, precision and flexibility of Composite 3D printing and combining it with the time-tested traditional fabrication processes, we effectively create one overall fabrication process blueprint to make that part perfect – be it in strength, precision and cost effectiveness!

Multiple fabrication schemes

Exploring the possibilities at hand, at Fabheads, based on the requirements we have the freedom to use multiple fabrication processes one after another – like 3D printing followed with layup/compression molding, or compression molding followed with 3D printing or other combinations giving a unique way of fabricating parts in an extremely economical manner.

3D Printed but all axis strength

Typically, 3D prints are known to have negligible strength along the vertical axis. With Fabheads’ unique hybrid processes we can add an extraordinary additional strength by using a layup done with fibers on the exterior and interior of the 3D print along the vertical axis!

Easy Molding

Molding, the Fabheads way! With features like 3D printing composites and hybrid fabrication, making composite molds is an extremely easy and precise process at Fabheads! Be it for in-house layup processes for our part fabrication division or molds to be supplied for our clients, we get them done precise, faster and most importantly in an extremely cost effective manner!
